Hot Tub Rules and Instructions

The hot tub is an expensive piece of equipment. We take pride in making sure that it is clean and ready for all guests. In order to do this, we need all guests to follow the instructions and rules so that they are safe and the hot tub is maintained for future guests. Please read before use.

Instructions

The hot tub should be ready to use on your arrival. If you would like us to run through the instructions on how to use it or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

1) Unclip the cover and fold the front over on top of itself. Then, lift the folded section. It will remain up while in use. There is a bungee cord connected to the lid at the center. Hook this on the eyelet in the wall to keep the lid open while in use.

2) Adjust temperature if needed. We typically have it set at 100˚ F. There are buttons for jets, lights, and temperature. The max is 104˚ F, set by the CPSC. (On the hot tub unit, there are controls for an audio system. It has never worked. It will let you connect your phone but will not play anything.)

3) Remember to rinse off in the shower with just water before getting into the hot tub. Oils, lotions, and soaps from your body will stay in the system and cause excessive foam.

4) After you are done using the tub for the day, add the contents of one of the chlorine Tupperware to the tub and run the jets for 5 minutes with the hot tub lid open. Use caution when handling chlorine.

5) Turn off the jets and lights. You can click the button in the top right, “All off.”

6) Unhook the bungee cord and close the cover.
